DragonsFyre Vacation Rental Terms & Conditions
- $650 Monthly House Cleaning Fees billed at cost for weekly and departure cleans. All bed linens provided along with two bath towels, one hand towel and face cloth per person (6 sets provided); toilet paper, bathroom soap & shampoo; starter kitchen paper towels & cloths; garbage bags. Bedroom accessories dry-cleaned after pet stays as necessary at additional cost.
- Stacked Firewood - 40 complimentary pieces per Guest per month
- Fire Breathing Dragon not included. Optional at $100 covering gas, groundskeeper safety check upon departure & prorated labor for gas refill. Drako is "voice-activated." Speak Drako's name with increasing intensity. On your 3rd & final call of "Drako", it breathes fire when you push a hidden button. About 90 seconds of sustained dragon's breath.
- Accidental Damage Insurance Policy: All Guests must enroll in a $79 accidental property damage insurance policy with $3,000 coverage as provided by CSA Travel Protection.
For non-US residents, a $2,500 credit card security hold is placed 10 days prior to arrival and released after departure.
- Check-In from 4:00pm. Check-Out by 10:00am
A signed rental agreement with 50% payment is required before your rental reservation is accepted. The final 50% payment is due 120 days prior to the Rental Date.
Cancellation & Refunds
If cancellation is unavoidable, Carmel-by-the-Sea Rentals attempts to rerent DragonsFyre. If successful, a refund at the new rented rates less a $500 processing fee and less any commissions, discounts or other promotional pricing is made. Refunds made by credit card or check depending on the rental payment(s).
Telephone & Wireless Broadband
Local and long distance calling is provided free-of-charge on DragonsFyre's telephone line. Cell access is OK. Wifi. Fax machine.
Smoking Is Not Permitted
Sorry, no exceptions.
Well behaved dogs are allowed. Additional pet cleaning fees may be required if your dog sheds, soils the carpet or requires bedding/blankets to be drycleaned (all billed at cost). Please inquire during your rental request. At no time may cats (or kittens) be brought onto the property.
It is the responsibility of the Guest to pay for all damages, intentional damage, breakage, theft, additional cleaning costs and/or unnecessary
maintenance expenses resulting from Guest's occupancy of the property. Assessment
of any such damages is by Carmel & Tahoe Rentals. Receipts will be provided to the Guest for all damages paid for by Carmel & Tahoe Rentals and charged to the Guest's credit card. The Guest can then apply to their
purchased CSA Accidental Damage Insurance Policy for the reimbursement of covered charges.
Travel Cancellation Insurance
The Guest may want to buy travel insurance through a third party of their
choice. Travel cancellation insurance will cover your rental payment in case of cancellation,
less any processing fees, due to inclement weather in the winter or other
